My advise for fresh grad, gain your experience first then the money will come.
My first job after grad only 2.4k.

Aug 2010 – RM2.4k (Contract)
Aug 2011 – RM2.8k (Contract convert to permanent)
Jan 2012 – RM3200 (Increment)
Jun 2012  – RM4000 (Jump company)
Jan 2013  - RM4416 (Increment)
Jan 2014  – RM5218 (Increment & Promotion)
Apr 2015 - VSS
May 2015 (Current Company) – RM5.5k basic (13 months, bonus, petrol card, car allowance, phone allowance)
Jun 2015 – Just got another offer yesterday for RM6.8k (Contract), still in dilemma want to accept the offer or not

Believe in me, money will come with your experience.
With experience, you can demand with your potential employer.

That's actually not bad bro. I don't have as much working experience as you but this is my current journey

April 2013 - RM2.4 (First job)
Jaunuary 2014 - RM2.55 (Increment)
January 2015 - RM3.5 (Promotion & Increment)
July 2015 - RM 4.5 (Offered but have not accepted)

I would say my progression isn't that bad haha.

I freshgrad 7 years ago also RM2.5k first pay. No experience and work extra 2 hrs/day only at chinapek company. Tea time eat fried rice kosong, no egg.

WTF now you complain pay worker RM2.5k. HELLO!

It's like that bro. There's already a disconnect between those experienced and fresh grads. To be honest 2.5k for a respectable MNC is already considered ok but from what I see here many are saying it's very high. I guess most that lurk here are Gen x or those in the early gen y generation.

Errr..if the candidate is good..why not...even for my compny..fresh grade will recieve rm3.2k include allowance...n yet mine is japanese mnc..

It's a small company bro. So far what I see big companies at least 3k for fresh grads already. My company is giving 3k base for fresh grads ans that have not include allowances and claims. I'm just glad I managed to enter this company when I graduated instead of those small companies that exploit fresh grads lol.

Malaysia's salary is still stuck in the 90s. Gen Y are now telling the older generation to change their mindset in terms of salary package, project timeline, using a more agile and get better tools to perform the job. RM1500 for a fresh, they might as well pack their bags and go over to Singapore and start there.
You need to guide a new generation of people but you can not use the old ways of working. You need to think outside the box and be more adaptive as time goes by. The old days are history.
What is the attraction of your company vs the big MNC?

Can learn more things bro according to forumers here since you are basically their dumb slave.
