The ad I saw requested interested applicants to list current and expected salary in their resume. How do I state them in the resume? In the objective or shall I include them in the personal particulars section?

As I'm no longer employed in my old job, should I refrain from stating any current salary?

Wah bro...such a big range huh..thanks for the advice! Hehe..perhaps that's the basic salary that you are mentioning without the hardship allowance..btw that sounds like a project engineer job...
*
Haha, sorry but my wife scolded me for posting my salary here previously. So I can only give a wide range.
Because I got pushed up from field engineer to project engineer.
Title same but job scope different, basically can say like in the management track la.

how can i not know my own salary. of course im sure. ive always had an understanding that SAP field is quite lucrative. can anyone else working in the SAP industry share about their salary as well please and thank you.

Yes I can confirm that with a year or less, there would be a big jump for SAP Functional Consultant. But it's not as lucrative as the jump in SAP Basis pay smile.gif

Btw, are you SAP MM Certified?

Nowadays fresh grad pay is so much higher than 3-4 years back when my batch started to be slave. RM3.1k is kinda high for some people which had to work 2-3 years to get that salary. But yet fresh grad demand for more!

Isn't it unfair to the existing 'slaves' to the market. Sigh

Thanks for your confirmation. Are you doing SAP as well? Is so, which module and salary if you would care to share.

Oh SAP Basis is way more technical and would need something like a network engineering background. Example of the increase?

Nope not certified.

I just joined functional team for 1 year + for SAP HCM Module. My salary range is around yours smile.gif. Around 70% increment from my previous job smile.gif

SAP Basis is the toughest job among all the 3 main jobs in SAP field: - SAP Basis, SAP Abaper and SAP Functional. SAP Basis not only deals with networks but also system architectures, designs, networking, security, installation, Operating Systems and more!

My friend was paid to study this and be certified. LOL. So he was practically hired to study for a whole year. It isn't easy to pass the test at all!

I see. What industry are you in? Consulting? O&G? Yeah thats what i got too, i guess 70% increase is the norm.

Its the toughest? Really? The Basis guy in my previous project so chillax, got time to service other consultants iPhone.

Are you certified in any SAP modules? Some companies do pay for you to get certified, but might have a bond or maybe theres an allowance for that sort of thing for each employee. My company does have that but i think its only if really needed to get certified. Other than that, its all first hand experience that counts i guess.

hmm Im sorry to use the word 'slave' i don't really mean it, which i have edited with work life,
just to add in, that i am on the SG side, handling Singaporeans, which might be more stress...so i guess that why they offer a better starting salary for freshie.
