Dear all, after quitting a technical sales job (salary 3k), have any advantages to get which kind of job? Was thinking what would be better for my career path, or provides higher salary. Appreciate advises from u guys

I'm not a person who reads a lot... so, kinda need suggestion what are the professional certs available for IT line.
Then I can start doing some research.. 

shell pay fresh grads 6.5k and MAS pay diploma fresh grads 7k
2k+ with no OT is pure human abuse better join 7-11 stress free job some more.
lets face it we must boycott working for kiamsiap chinaman companies then only salaries will start to rise in malaysia....

Would like to ask for some opinion, like in a situation if someone with about 2-3 years of work experience with 3.4k of total salary (basic 2k + 1.4k allowance), when want to change job, which amount will the new company mostly refer to give the new salary, the total salary or the basic? The job title can considered as electronic/lab engineer...

What is the starting salary for the associates in the Big 4 audit firms?

i have three and half years of working experience in an international research company. I had left the company recently and currently is pursuing my Masters in Business.

My last paycheck was around MYR 2.6k. I was offered MYR 3K but i resigned before i could take it up.

I am now offered an interview for the position of an archives officer at an international sports association in KL (something like FIFA but in another sports body). It is a normal 9 to 6 Monday to Friday job with expectations to be present at weekends at times (i take this as a signal there will be lots of weekends spending in the office covering events etc).

How much should i go for? I know generally an increase of 20 to 30 percent from the last salary is acceptable, but since this is an international sports association, should i be aiming for more?

About the job description, basically i have to liase with continental confederations as well as museums, authors and photographers for day to day collection and storage of  important event and historical information related to the sports. It also includes managing their online museum as well as writing content on the online's publication.

Furthermore, there will be other responsibilities that can be assigned by the person in charge.

My main question will be on the paycheck. I am looking for anything more than RM 4k which is on the high side, but i believe is affordable considering it is an international sports association.
