You are very underpaid. Converting it to RM will make you feel better

Fresh grad in Singapore can get higher than your current salary.

Yup, agree. But convert to RM will not make me feel better too, as i was working and staying at Singapore, so hardly convert money to RM and use at Malaysia.  sweat.gif

Seriously, i work in Singapore not because those currency rate, as you said i was underpaid, but i found working in Singapore got better career path, very first, they will differentiate you with singaporean so their salary offer is double standard, but when you prove you are capable person, they will treat you fair enough

I worked in Singapore for the past 3 years. Technical is not much appreciated there since most of the tech people are cost center, and Singapore is relatively expensive due to currency.

I would agree with you that Singapore has better career if we are talking on consulting, but not for technical especially helpdesk thingy.

IMO, you will be rewarded as long as you can perform, not restrictive to Singapore only

your paycheck is P&C, if chinaman better dont give, sure lowball. Unless big 4 or other MNC

I agree with this, and technically I don't understand why future employer needs your payslip. Your next job compensation should base on the evaluations and appreciation from the employer, not %mark up from the current pay.

However, %mark up is still the common way for individual to indicate their expected salary

I agree on this Singapore part. Through my 3 years client client servicing in that country, the senior/top management roles there is indeed occupy by Caucasian. Sg do have the mentality that 'ang Moh' is doing better than Asian.
