Hi there smile.gif
I just check out this lowyat site...there are many people who are willing to share their knowledge and experience. WOW! If I were a bit experienced, I also want to contribute something biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Please excuse me for my grammatical errors tongue.gif
I'm not a bright person, but I'm a diploma holder in Chemica Eng(Process) with 2.98 CGPA and currently persue my Chemal Eng degree(part time)
at UTM Space. I would like to work in oil and gas field if I've given the chance.

I want to ask,
1)if I choose QC/QI tech in detergent/chemical field...can I work in QC at semiconductor company also or is it require mechanical/mechatronic background?

2)if I persue in QC field, can I have a chance to work in oil and gas industries?

Haha..tips? Sure all interview ask this question "why you leave your current company?"
Tips like this :
1- Dont talk bad about your previous company even your company really bad  notworthy.gif

2- Dont say that you jump for money $$, or low increment, low benefit or any negative item.  whistling.gif

3- Safe answer for you want jump company are for future career. Give example to "Moving Foward". Give reason that positive.

4- another good answer- to upgrade skill/multi skill (if you do same job every day), upgrade knowledge, future career, learn new technology (if your current company is old thinking), want to move to management level (if already in technical for long time).

5-Not so safe if you answer about office location, about your team mate problem, transport issue, family. Interviewer will think twice about your answer.they will tembak you kaw-kaw..haha

6-if your company already good, Salary already OK, increment OK, bonus 4 month and so on, and interviewer say "kesian sama you punya company ks you macam-macam tapi you mau cabut" you can give your answer like this. " i give the best for company, company give the best for me. Then its win-win situation. He got what they want, i got what i want. So any problem?" .

7- If they psycho you, you psycho them back but in positive way.

P/s : Total interview i already go is 9,7 pass and 2 fail. 2 failed because that time i fresh grad - answer like budak2 that time..no knowledge..hehe

Yes man totally agree with this. For me interview is like playing strategy game (RTS) and need to level up with experience of going to interviews. So I see each interview session as an opportunity to practise. See what the interviewer gonna ask and if the question surprises me I'll keep that question in mind and think of a counter attack for the next interview which I encounter this question biggrin.gif

I think already OK base on your qualification is diploma and experience is 1year6 month.. even you got many certificate, i think to go up need more experience. Then during that time you can get 5K i think. if you want more, continue your degree, with experience 7 year can get 7k..

p/s base on my experience

saw an ads in jobstreet, but I am afraid if my qualification will affect my salary and because I will go in through jobstreet HR, i am also afraid that my salary will be less and different from others.. Do u think Maxis pay everyone the same (i mean in the same post)

what is your qualification? degree or diploma? if you go through via HR agent, i think salary will less RM200 because the agent take it for 1 year.. after 1 year your salary will be normal..that y some agent really want give you some job because they will get RM200 for 12month/24month depend on your job roles and the contract with the company.
