As you see here, I'm thinking of upgrading my 3-4 year old custom desktop. Only afford to play dota 2 for now. I'm thinking to upgrade my desktop into a middle spec as my budget is not that high. currently my desktop spec is
Windows Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition (build 7600), 32-bit

Processor: Pentium® Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz

Graphics Card: GeForce 9400 GT

Total RAM: 2.0 GB

same as vampire_man182 suggestion, try ti search for i5 2500k and the motherboard also. If not a heavy gamer then the graphic card dun touch it first

Quite a good budget actually, try for APU in this case wink.gif

AMD A8 6600K blk (HD8570) RM429
Asus FM2 A55M-E RM229
Kingston value RAM 1600Mhz 8GB RM229

Total RM887

should be able to play more thna DOTA with this spec, the built-in GPU should be plenty of an upgrade in comparison to your current setup, should be able to play quite a number of games in mid quality settings

Like the above post i think yes biggrin.gif

But if you are a long lasting gamer I mean in future u would try on many games, I prefer you up your budget a bit because I think it is worth to spend a ONE time for all gaming rigs instead of you upgrade it one by one (1st processorer then 2-3 more months ram n so on). The rigs which may support for 2-3 years next generation of graphics icon_rolleyes.gif
