so far didn't received any calls from SC. mine was June 2013.

I went to SC after receiving call, waited for 1.5 hours for the "check" on air cond wiring. Lodged my complaints on noises from front, left, right and rear of car, but were ignored without taking a drive with me to identify the source and ask to leave car for 2-3 days next time.

Btw, car collected end March 2013. Seems like affected ones are from last batch.

biggrin.gif it's all about the rattling noises

front - dashboard, meter
left - may be seat belt and/or door panel
back - driver seat yiikkk yakk squeaking, rubbing noise at the rear dunno from where
right - seat belt cover
Add bottom - clunking noise when reverse, but solved, luckily

it all started to come out few days after collected my car, and the "orchestra" grew over time. now 1 year of age, after 3 services, it felt worse than my previous 9 years old 2nd hand car cry.gif

it kept playing in my mind dat i got a rejected unit biggrin.gif not to mention about SCs' inattentiveness/unwillingness to work on these complaints.

sigh..looks like i'm not the only having such problems. I'm having the exact same problems with your front, back and right!!  The dashboard noise disappears after awhile.  Seems to sound like the aircond vents/flaps within..so I'm still fine with that.  The most irritating is the driver seat squeaking as that happens every single time I accelerate/deccelerate..i've tried lubricating all possible spring/rails, the sound disappears for some time, and comes back again.  My seat belt cover is on/off...so I guess I'll just bear with it. I've asked SC to open it up to check if anything is loose inside, but all's fine. Can't figure where the rattling is from.

I'll probably send my car in for the driver seat problem again, will update here if a solution is found..do update us on yours too smile.gif

@motorman can you comment/advise on how to solve these problems? Thanks!

@motorman is more likely to be in cerato thread now laugh.gif

I've open the seat cover and spray with WD40, no effect..SC tried to add a few cardboards in between d cushion and springs, no use also..my own diagnostic is that d noise come from the joints of the steel frame, unless change the whole seat, I doubt this will ever be solved. cry.gif

Update on driver seat problem..I sent my car to SC and identified that it is the seat support frame (the one where springs are attached) that was the main culprit.  Part ordered and changed, now quiet like a mouse rclxm9.gif  hope it stays that way forever whistling.gif
