Since you have answer why still ask ? 16" would be slightly better since will be using higher profile tire 205/55R16....
*
Wanna ask if 17" rim, whats the highest tire profile?

45. Anything above factory specification will hit the fender. The engineer design this for a reason. If u really want higher profile, need to downgrade to 16"

I was told by SC that can go for profile 50, wondering if 55 possible. changing rim and tyre soon.

Any issues using 50 tires?

I think should not be a problem as the SC Manager who suggested me to change profile 50 for better comfort but forgot ask what is the maximum.

I'm going to change tire this week due to long distance drive back Penang. Any pros/cons on Nexen N8000?

Anyway seller advice me to use 205/50/17 instead of 215/50/17. Any comment if tire thinner?

Thin ? I thought 45 more thinner than 50...

hmm how to say it, 205 is slimmer like example our waist?

Seller mention profile 50 will be heavier so putting 205 instead of 215 will put off the weight.

No issue...

Pros :-
Reduce noise & more comfort... can langgar lubang easily...

Cons :-
Tire contact with road will be more less compare to 215...
