High in city je... In hway save...

Forte 1.6

How many litre per 100km for city and Highway for 2.0?
Another  thing, how to know if the car is 1.6sx or 2.0sx?

Engine how to see different ya? 2.0 is DOHC  16V.
1.6 leh?

Speaking about FC..last week went to KL. Here's my FC figure for 100% highway drive (from Alor Setar North toll to Sungai Buloh Layby) :

Please note that my car is Forte 2.0 4-speed with 16" lightweight rims. Average speed 100-120 km/h only (most of the time use autocruise) 

Fuel to full tank at Alor Setar & arrived at arriving at Sg. Buloh just below half a tank

Its NORMAL. Tried 1.6sx 6 speeds average 100km/h  - KL > Tangkak (near 1/4 of tank)  > Tangkak > Jenjarum > KL (reach home slightly below half tank)...FULL stock 17" ...when you at optimum speed FC will not have far much different 

hi bro, if 2012 is 80k+ mileage, isit worth it for rm50k?

i never get that low..... 

but...for each full tank, for sure will get over 600km. (highway)

Cehh..driving until speedometer turning the other way round..of course la 
About let say..5 hours including some brief stoppage @ R&R

Hahaha..but dashboard rattling sound is not inherited from CBU unit..

2.0 have electronic steering = super light weight
1.6 have hydraulic steering = heavy weight

It's true actually. For smoother ride..having extra gear ratios is a way to go. Only the CVT can outperform any conventional transmission in term of smoother ride & staying at the power band without excessive revving 

4-speeder technically speaking can't win over the 6-speeder in term of smooth ride, stay at power band without revving higher & low cruising RPM. I believe the only thing that the 4-speeder in the advantages are lower maintenance cost (no need fully syn ATF) & better acceleration from stand still (2nd gear alone can accelerate to 120km/h for the 2.0) in which i need to drive like mad to gain this advantage 

Anyone has done any exhaust modifications? Full or partial. Come share your setup and result!

I recently changed to:
4-2-1 extractor
12" bullet
S-flow muffler
2" piping

Results:
Improvement in pick up at 1k - 2k & 2.5k - 3.5k rpm range.
Somehow agak lemau/lethargic at 2k - 2.5k rpm. Especially when not full throttling.

FC improves when driving with slow & steady increase in rpm and also cruising.
FC suffers a lot with frequent high revving, up and down the rpm scale.
Both compared to stock setup.

Noise level slightly louder. But no different when idling or below 2k rpm. Droning quite noticeable when cruising at 2k - 3k rpm. But at speed above 100kph, droning sound is drowned by road & wind noise.

NA... 1.6" enough aldy...

rim biasa aje bang. buat cukup syarat. my 19" rims dented already. need to trade in as fast as possible before it loses its value completely. 

Ni mesti drive slowly coz wanna show the rim...
But btw , how u know exp rims also good ?
Maybe that shop sell exp rim but quality still cap ayam ?

Most of the CBU Forte 1.6 & Forte 2.0 came from the very first batch that coming in at the end of 2009 & early 2010. Owner who own this batch, got a registration card (geran) that clearly stated "Kenderaan Import Baru" which means a CBU unit (from Korea). After that batch, NazaKia already declared it as CKD & on the geran stated "Pemasangan Tempatan". For a CKD unit, I believe however, most of the parts are still coming from Korea & NazaKia only assembled it here @ Gurun plant. We hardly can distinguish between this CBU & CKD unit actually except when we see the geran & the chassis number at the left lower corner of the windshield. The chassis number for the CKD unit starting from letter "P" while for CBU unit "K" 

Trust me... Above is more on luck...
If u've a time, go see 2009 & 2013 model... And compare...

When travel frm Karak to Temerloh with 5 fully loaded, everytime the road wave, got guk guk sound coz bumpy...
