8mp, sure or not? LOL. the quality seems nice!

Given sufficient light, any device can snap nice picture with proper composition.

P/S : Stock camera app with Party Mode (Low ISO biase)

but ur 8mb resolution seems quite good too.. i got iphone 4s last time, just ok ok ... now i use xperia zl, 13mb, but poor in low light.

So far I have not been seeing decent cameraphone in low light.. even Lumia 1020. laugh.gif
Even my APS-C sized sensor DSLR also cannot cope with that.

so which camera good in low light?
*
The better ones are Lumia 1020, Z1, Z2, One 2 and G2 (strong denoise and result in watercolour effect). icon_rolleyes.gif
However, knowing to utilize the gear is required to squeeze every possible bit of performance out of it. icon_rolleyes.gif

z1 no good bro, even iphone 4s better than z1. I think the best pv808>920>1020>N8, but they all are nokia.
*
Nope. The detail is much better than even 5S. As I said, you have to discover the best settings to bring out the true performance of the sensor. And commonly people think iphone is better because the picture is more appealing to eye. icon_rolleyes.gif Big sensor still has it's own advantage.

Clean image is overrated. Composition is way more important than anything. A noise free image is not necessary to be great, but eye catching composition is. The noise from the Z1 pictures might too much to be accepted by normal customers. But the good side is, it leaves room for you to process the image later. If you feel it is too noisy, go ahead and denoise it. But some appreciate the details, therefore they don't care too much about it.

So my conclusion is - The image from Z1 isn't that appealing to normal consumers. But those who are looking for minimal modification, they will appreciate Z1.

Note 3 - Z1 - 5S right? icon_idea.gif

Too dark? Low exposure? You can adjust the exposure compensation.
