haha, these are much "ligher" photoshops la bro tongue.gif Mainly PS is to merge photos to become panoramas from 8mp to 34mp/38mp. then follow by setting the sky to the same colour tone^^, then finally only comes to artistic touch XD

ok ok. here comes stock version. straight from phone LOL

808 is no longer able to keep up with today's mobile photography standards, sure, image quality still one of the best if compared to the market, but lack of faster/manual shutter speed settings, higher ISOs and OIS makes low light situation a bit difficult for handheld (especially on a ship, windowed elevator, etc). Camera features and filters are not much to play with too. Finally there wont be any Official/3rd party apps for the dated OS. But still, it doesn't stop me from using 808 as daily pocket DC LOL

personally, if u want powerful camera, better check nokia pureview series, especially godlike nokia 808 pureview
that cam is beast. got fancy setting and nice carl zeiss lense, 41MP and xenon flash (not led). even i jelly with it, just it an old model with mid spec. and its not an android phone wink.gif

thats for my personal opinion, pls enlighten me if got any mislead info.
even im using so called sony camera flagship phone still cannot beat nokia
maybe my eye not good enough laugh.gif

the different between handphone is minor though,
but im comparing sharpness at least at 70% cropped pic, especially low light mode (street photo, ballroom etc)
bright pic, almost hp can win even my mom's cheap lenovo.

if you are talking about overall performance, most of the modern flagship already exceed 808 Pureview, what 808 Pureview left was purely image quality (Others are closing up the gap, Panasonic, Samsung, Oppo, etc..). You cant do instant HDR/High resolution Panorama with 808. You will need tripod or steady hand for low light without OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), which 808 doesn't have. Nether N8 or 808 have the shutter speed of 1/2000sec or higher which allows to capture some natural freezing scenes (yes they both have proper xenon flash, but those only for short range freeze), lastly, dated OS wont receive anymore updates or apps to work around (either official or 3rd party)

And that is only covers the camera performance chapter, if talk about multimedia/apps/OS flexibility, Symbian already way out of its league as smartphone defined by today's standard. Sure, Symbian still holds the true multitasking fame, but modern phone can do "almost" the same (well, those flagship with larger RAM and speedier processor will be the top dog as usual)

Finally to your question, yes, there is an android phone that can beat 808 Pureview in most of the aspect, but you wont be getting this phone easily (Price starting from Rm3.5k), its the Panasonic DMC-CM1 with the largest image sensor of all smartphone, 1" sensor with Leica certified optics. And no current smartphone can even match its real bokeh level (those faux bokeh apps are not to be compared)
