Summary:
Tree of Savior will contain 80 classes in total at the launch of its open beta, with 10 "jobs" available to each class. Graphics-wise, the game will be similar to Ragnarok Online, with 2D character sprites moving around in a 3D world—although this time around the monsters you'll fight will also be in 3D,



Not a 3D gamer fans but...because it is from my favorite MMORPG, I am -ing. Some of the sound effects rather familiar!

guess have to buy an account again from one of the 3rd party website to join this game's open beta

i think its 10 stages of class advancement, so maybe started off with 8 jobs,
and multiply by the 10 advancement, we get 80 classes xD
but i could be wrong tho

anyhow, regardless of the number of classes, this game looks promising

Wonder how many branch each job will get at each advancement. Making it harder for player like me (who like a little bit of every job XD) to make a choice >.<

WOW. First heard about this game as Project R1 about 3 years. Really hope it is indeed a 'spiritual successor' to RO

however if its too hard to get to play it i guess ill pass.

Fantastic. But the balancing and content must be vast enough for such huge level cap. The amount of work they need to put in is enormous.

won't keep my hopes too high, so far any ragnarok mirror game has been utter failure.

Oh hey nice! Another ToS forum I can be a member of!

I too hope and pray we will not be disappointed by this game. XD But I got the feelings that it's gonna be epic and the experience I will have with it will far surpass any other MMO that I've been in.

It's very nice cus they even provide opportunity for us fans to send in our questions while waiting for the release of the game.

Very unique classes they have there. Very good, they're moving themselves away from the MMOs with generic classes. I'm looking forward to this game!

when is the close beta happening for this game? it seems to be in dev...would like to know when is it going to roll out

Closed beta was planned on summer 2014, summer starts at July.

But now its delayed due to publisher issues.

Here comes the question ... will you donate to a game company to self publish the game?

I would. But in small amount I guess because I'm still not working.

And I hope there'll plenty of rooms for people to apply for CBT. Can't wait

their cash shop items are imbalanced?

There's not a cash shop at the moment. Not that I know of.

I know there are easy bosses ... but the game itself is diverse, not sure whether its going to be as diverse as RO. (I think not, at the early stages of the game)

But we'll see.

Having said that I don't think it's a good idea to donate in order to speed up the publishing process. Early published game usually come with a tonne of bug that's hard to fix.
