Yah... coz it's a large breed, shipping is expensive and then it is rarely bred in some countries so their prices can be high... so agak agak 12k loh....

Just go for the dogs that are available here. I mean, if get those mountain dogs, they have full double coats for cold weather. Unless we groom them everyday and let them have a cool air cond room, they can survive with their full coat here. If we don't give care specifically for their breed, later fur not nice, thin and dull... the dog might become bored and destructive.

That's a Tibetan Mastiff. A couple of my friends have them. They, like most cold climate dogs lose their coat and bulk here and adapt. His doesn't live on a piece of land but goes for daily walks. For a proper show line one...say frm the US then yes,abt 3k USD inclusive of shipping for a puppy.
He got his off some farm outside of the city in China. Cost him a few hundred USD and a few goats biggrin.gif Good protection dog that one.

Well..I don't hear him complaining bout the fur. I think his lab sheds more than the Tibetan laugh.gif (when I was with them anyways)

Heh..he got a middle man to do the transaction for him. So the breeder wanted a goat or 2..so he just pay for the goats while the middleman bought the goats for the breeder biggrin.gif

Well, that dog is a very good guard dog. Very alert and not a dog any tom,d*** and harry can handle. He's a very aloof dog and prefers to watch u than "say hi". Very calm around ppl but will not hesitate to bite if u cause trouble. thumbup.gif
Nah,he doesnt. The tibetan is his personal dog. smile.gif
