Dear Note3 Sifus, need your help.. My wife just got a Note 3 and I need some recommendation for a suitable back casing for a lady user? She doesn't like those flip or wallet types... I'm trying to decide between Spigen's Slim Armor and Neo Hybrid but which is better in terms of better protection and slimness? And are there any other options? Many thanks in advance for your help!!

QUOTE(vostro78 @ Nov 18 2013, 02:12 PM) casing wise you may ask andrew as he got lots of high grade casing. i am using neo hybrid + glass sp at this moment and it is slim. Thanks bro, so meaning Neo Hybrid is slimmer than Slim Armour? I couldn't get any dimensions from Spigen's official website

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 18 2013, 02:20 PM) You cannot get better protection AND slimness together. Either you get bulky casing for better protection...or less bulky to barely there casing for slimness...lolz. Slim Armor gives better protection than Neo Hybrid. But Neo Hybrid gives better looks due to it slimness than Slim Armor. Ya, I told my wife if want maximum protection go for Otterbox but she saw my iPhone5 Otterbox Defender and imagine if it was on her Note 3, can almost pengsan, haha.. Ok, I'll ask her to decide between good looks and better protection.. Thanks!

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Nov 18 2013, 02:25 PM) Neo Hybrid is slim but least protection, and the button a bit loose, I mean the power and volume button. Slim Armor more thicker than Neo Hybrid but well build, everything button is tide and much strong protection. Thanks for the tip bro, will take it into consideration!

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Nov 18 2013, 02:29 PM) Go for Otterbox Commuter . It's good enough for normal impact and unlike previous designs , commuter for Note3 is bearable in thickness . Something like UAG for note 2 , slight thicker at the side only for the Commuter . And women , they want everything all in , headache to find for her ler ? It's ok , know how u feel Hahaha.. Ya man, buy phone casing pun susah... Haven't seen Otterbox Commuter for Note 3 available in retail stores yet but will keep a lookout for it...

QUOTE(putera_imranz @ Nov 22 2013, 08:27 PM) I think this is a good point.. I've been wondering if this is an issue with Samsung phones or an issue with Android phones in general? The phone price drops so drastically within a short period of time that the resale value of the phone becomes similar to that of a continental car in Malaysia. For example, people are now offering 1,9xx for a new Note 3 now and yet I can see there are some current owners putting theirs up for sale at the Garage Sale for RM2000-RM2100, probably because they bought it at 2,399 and thought selling it off 200 or 300 would be fair value after a month's use or so.. Makes me wonder if getting a Samsung or Android phone at RRP without a contract from a telco is a terrible idea. This post has been edited by attw: Nov 23 2013, 01:59 AM
