Actually during flashing using MOP time wanna jump ship dy, but thanks to your method it makes me stay awhile. But really can't stand the poison of flashing and trying things up.

Bro, I have the problem too and I found out that if we are using any A2DP bt headset, notification will route through both the phone speaker and also the bt headset. I still haven't find any solution to this

btw bro, wanna ask, how come your keyboard in the screenshot you posed early has no sub symbol? I thought it is enabled in Echoe ROM?

If it is the CSC thingy that cause the problem, maybe you can try to flash to UK CSC via Echoe Kitchen

Meaning the jumbo mumbo keyboard is only for Chinese keyboard?

For example, if you have a contact named below

Dato Lee - 0123456789

Previously in dialer screen, pressing 3286 will give you "Dato". What Andrew means is now he no longer can do that. Pressing 3286 will filter all contact numbers with 3286. Just like you screenshot, pressing the number will only filter the contact number, not the contact names

For editing csc, you have to go to system/csc/others.xml

You need to edit the others.xml file and add a line for this

<CscFeature_Sip_EnableSymbolInSecondary>en_GB</CscFeature_Sip_EnableSymbolInSecondary>

From what I have read, is best if you flash the ROM, then flash CSC and then factory reset

Andrewtst, for you case, try to flash back the full ROM with the default CSC and add these 2 lines into your Csc Features

<CscFeature_Dialer_PhonebookNdigitsMatching>true</CscFeature_Dialer_PhonebookNdigitsMatching>
<CscFeature_RIL_CallerIdMatchingDigit>true</CscFeature_RIL_CallerIdMatchingDigit>

See if this help with your smart dialer issue

For sub symbol, add these 2 lines

<CscFeature_Sip_UseSymbolInCMKey>true</CscFeature_Sip_UseSymbolInCMKey>

I think the best is for you to edit your csc before any restoration. Better test it first
