anyone know if any local shops are bringing in Warbotron's not-bruticus? want to touch my first 3rd party combiner and this one in particular is being very difficult to get.. a lot of shops seem to refuse to bring it in

for now i don't feel like purchasing from x2o as the purchasing method for warbotron is rather.. unappealing
That's what they say for now since this is warbotron's first. I personally think it's fair enough since no one knows how the quality's gonna be.
Once not blast off is in hand with some reviewers...PO should start popping up with firmer price.
You will also find that PO-ing some 3Ps figures with local stores nowadays are sometimes frustrating experience for both collectors and seller - especially those that wants deposits.
This is based on my own experience. If they start taking early POs with a say...stated price of 3xx for ea of the bots and when it later increases to 4xx per bot(due to great reviews or increased cost fr supplier or what not reasons) it pisses the ass of 3P collector like myself that secured the early PO price with deposit. My take is if you take deposit during the early PO posting, you should honor that stated 3xx price agreed at the point of time. That's the whole purpose, of a PO after all (again IMO)- secure a unit at the stated price or range with a deposit AT that point in time.
Enough rumblings..but yeah, if you think warbotron's not brut gonna be your first 3P combiner, my advise will be best to wait a bit more till review of the first bot's out and only jump on that PO with local stores that will secure a unit( and all the remaining combiner bots) for you and doesnt take deposit (unless they firmed the price , which i doubt, for you at that point). This is of course above all, and also to be fair to the store, you're committed to buy all the bots from that store (since no deposit) and will be comfortable with the changes in final price for the bots.
If you cant commit to the above...best to wait till all the combiner bots are available and purchase the whole set- which then may or may not increase in price, depending on reviewers/collectors take.
Hope my 2cents helps!!
