Well, i am using ZA 6.5.714(the latest one). Been using it since ZA 5. Few days ago, i updated my ZA to 6.5.714. FYI, i am using ZA security suite. Since then, my ZA has been quite weird. It has been using enormous amount of physical and virtual memory. Initially, when i start my pc, ZA will just occupy approximately 30MB of physical memory and it will gradually increase as time passes

ZA Security Suite has Anti-virus protection, I believe. Maybe it is because of its Real-Time Monitoring?(or maybe it has no RTM??) If not, yeah, it is a serious Memory Leak...

Since upgrading to the latest version, it becomes crazy memory eater |

Yup, agree with GameSky. I did a clean installation with ZA 6.5.722 but the memory leak problem still persists
QUOTE(Havoc Knightmare @ Jun 22 2006, 12:50 PM) Im using ZoneAlarm too, and since upgrading, I noticed it blocks certain servers on IRC. How can I disable it? Open your ZA. Go to "IM security". Click the "Settings" tab and then click the the "Advanced" button below. Uncheck the "Block IRC" option and click "OK".This post has been edited by mystical zero: Jun 22 2006, 02:06 PM |

Obviously, ZA is making the same mistake made by MS.(which is never test their programs or patches for it to be perfect before circulation. SWEAT!!!) If so, try to find for previous releases, and unistall this buggy version. Good Luck. (btw, I am not facing this problem, wonder why....)
