Currently using Cosmos Pure and i find its too big for me.
Looking for a mid tower with simple design which i find above choices looks nice for me.
Im using mobo Gigabyte X58 UD7, GC Sapphire 5870 and CM Silent Pro 1000w.

Please vote and give me some say about it.
Would be great if you can share ur experience on the case if u actually owned one of the case.

Give me Your SAY!!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The poll is not releven anymore i guess...since my choices come to 3 case:
1. Fractal Design Define R4 (cons: very very HEAVY, HDD drive not tooless...but can tolerate tongue.gif )
2. Corsair Obsidian 550D (cons: prefer usb/power button on top of case...also its not black sweat.gif )
3. Lian Li PC-7HX (cons: no dust filter on the side panel...unsure it has enough room for cable management)

Now confuse rclxub.gif between these....but also still open for other recommendation if any.

Preference:
1. Got dust filters
2. Simple design
3. Easy to swap HDD
4. mid tower that can support mobo Gigabyte X58 UD7, GC Sapphire 5870
5. Gonna put the case on my desk, soo i guess should be not too heavy rclxub.gif
6. Silent is a plus

Imo i prefer Fractal Art. Just like their design wub.gif
since u're looking for mid tower, take a look with the Arc Midi R2.

This brand is not widely known in malaysia because iinm official distributors only managed to bring in Fractal case last year.
but u can google up Fractal, they been making cases quite some time.
beside theres also Fractal Arc Mini R2 as well incase u prefer bit smaller.

What about corsair 540? I don't own it but defo will choose 540 if I'm looking for smaller case.

using a ATX mobo and Ati 5870 which is quite long...mini wouldnt fit.
but I came to like Fractal Design Define R4 ....very nice.
Thinking to get this instead.... the only thing that holding me back is its too HEAVY sweat.gif .
Plan to put the case on my desk. rclxub.gif

Dont think i like the design...prefer a simpler design like the 3 choices (Fractal Design Define R4, Corsair Obsidian 550D, Lian Li PC-7HX).
But still open for other suggestions.

Also look into bitfenix shadow but dont like the drive bays in sideways. for bitfenix ghost...like the design but it looks plasticky (something like that) and that puts me off.
also the psu dust filter is inside the case....if outside the caselike the 3, its much better. hmm.gif

I have the Lian li and did a build for my bro with the Corsair 540 and have a tj11, tj07,ft01,ft02
Lets see Lian li vs TJ04 vs Corsair 540

Lian Li
1.ahLian has a very hard cable management especially the 12 EPS at the top. Its doable but need some force to get it through.
2.ahlian is more of a aircooling case.
3.Build quality is the best of all 3
4.ah lian dustfilter for the side just go get a silverstone magnetic filter or just mod for a plexi/glass solution on the side. Not a big con as it can be modified with Rm50 or less.

Tj04
1.TJ04 is heavy cause it uses steal body while lian li is full alu.
2.TJ04 cooling on those hdd Racks aint sufficient for a 24/7 rig for the HDD and theres no air being fed to the GPU's directly but being some kind of deflect tech etc.
3.TJ04 has better clearance space at the top for a H100i ( again not sure but definately more space) than ahlian.

Corsair 540
1. Corsair only con is limited HDD racks and no direct cooling at all. Its more for SSD's at the back and hdd at the bottom on the first bay.
2. It can be a high end air/water cooling casing.
3.Its the most expensive compared to the two above by nearly 70 percent.

Looking at ure choices i would
take lian li if hdd cooling and 24/7 rig is important to u
or corsair 540 if hdd is not a issue and u want ultimate air cooling and expand-ability case.

carbide 500r is a good case but not in the same league as the 3 above. Its more a direct competitor with Cm690.
It has a lot of function, cable management etc at the expense of casing material build.
corsair 550d abt the same at tj04 but better cable management.

Just look into this site of the case comparison for cooling and quiet...and to my surprise, ah lian performs really well.
http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/3658/7/lia...oise-production
At first, I thought ah lian performs badly in terms of silence.

Really like ur suggestion for the dust filter.
hmm...need to check where can I get the silverstone magnetic filter coz i think i like that solution.
Did u get ur case the silverstone magnetic filter or mod with plexi/glass? can share some pic thumbup.gif
Now im leaning towards the ah lian whistling.gif ...just need to make sure if can make adjustment with little investment.

For a moment there, i was going for Fractal Design Define R4 instead of ah lian and some of the reason is because of ur comment and others regarding the 8pin hole and backside clearance here https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1010313/+2320
Thanks for the input....really help me a lot.
