Hughes is a long-term target for Rodgers, Wenger and Moyes, having impressed in central midfield for Derby.

But the 18-year-old finally looks to be on his way out of Pride Park after Liverpool agreed to meet the Rams' £12m asking price.

According to reports, the Reds will land the highly rated England Under-21 international in January.

Outstanding analysis. I'm sort of on the fence with this one. The positive for me is BR taking the risk and going for the win. That took courage and for once, his subs were proactive rather than reactive. The negative is that his gungo tactical change came at a price as we conceded a goal shortly after making that change. But we did score so it was kinda a double edge sword . It was a disappointing outcome if you look at it just solely based on result. But as a football fan, i can't be more thrilled with the ballsy change of direction from BR. There's still room for improvement and but i must say BR has surprised me this season.

Every team has their own star player and most contributing player.
If not RVP goals, MU may not able to be crowned PL champion last year.
If not Aguero many goals, and goals in last min against QPR, Mancity won't be champion.
If not Bale star performance, Spurs may not in Europa league.

So as a manager, what you need in the team?
A few star players that can change the result.
That's why many advocate for a few marquee signing (aka a class player, a outstanding player can make something out of nothing), instead of many average players.
