why some ppl keep summoning cherroy? since last night i saw this 

Nothing wrong being pessimistic, if you look at the last 5 season result when we are in white hard lane, its ugly.

I hope others just get on with it and enjoy our team who won last night.

I've always had that thought at the back of my mind for the good past 4-5 seasons. Our play always centers around Stevie when hes around.. we always look for stevie to do something. "If in doubt, pass to stevie gerrard"...thats the mentality when he's on the pitch.

If stevie was not in good form, the team will suffer and vice versa. Sometimes, it becomes predictable and we lacked fluidity because of it. I thought BR was gonna use Stevie sparingly but still he played 90 mins whenever he's fit. Its an interesting situation. Im glad you brought this up @maranello.

For me it's Gerrard having to budget his energy level. We tend to play a much slower pace when Gerrard is around - in particular during transitions and build ups. Yesterday we were ruthless during the transitions. Spurs was second best when it comes to the second ball, that's mostly down to us having the midfield and forward players capable of sustaining intense pressing through out the match. And when we did win those 2nd ball, we were quick turn defense into offense and vice versa. Spurs could not settle and play their game - so shell shocked that they made few unforced errors. There were a lot of good things from last night game but the key thing for me was the tempo set by Coutinho. He was ruthless, choosing to attack at pace at almost every opportunity. And you can only attack at pace if you have the right set of midfielders to keep up with the intensity and pace of the game. It's all about momentum, Suarez and Countiho can only press if they have the immediate support from midfield, and the likes of Allen and Hendo have the legs and ability to do just that. And i noticed BR was quick to sub Lucas for fresh legs which then enabled us to sustain our pressing game to the final whistle.

smooth transition is good. he is our captain and has a lot of experience to offer. but now he cant play 90 minutes all the time. but still Hendo and Allen need to be more consistent and improve faster.

we had the belief and the spirit. i nvr seen that b4 in BR games.

It pains me that some Malaysians are supporting Berjaya FC and are oblivious to how Tan Sri made his fortune, and how many people he's cheated. The legacy continues still if you ask people who have dealings with them.

Based on history, I won't be surprised if they signed 3 players and then refused to pay for them.
