Location-based Wifi means it only connects to the wifi you saved, when you leave that spot it turns off wifi to save battery, and when you're back to that wifi spot it turns back on.

Not too sure about Queue background data, but I left mine ticked.

I only use STAMINA when it's down to 20-30% and I need it to stay alive. But most of the time it last me a full day so I rarely use it. Though I have to say STAMINA doesn't make much of a difference, at least for me.

Yeah and how much they selling GPE?

I don't know about the lag, but when I charge via laptop, it takes wayyyyyy too long to charge, like 15mins 1%, and if I use it while charging via laptop it drops instead.

Nah I thought the laptop wasn't powerful enough to charge the phone while using so I didn't bother. Since it charge faster on wall plug too anyway.

1. For the reduced price and top of the line spec phone, yes it is worth your every penny.

2. Sony is selling the dock for RM152 (at least from what I last know). I'm guessing sellers should be selling for around RM120-130. If you feel unsafe about it just pay the extra RM20-30 and get from Sony, the extra buck to secure your doubts.

3. The Z Ultra is still rocking the highest spec on the market right now, if you don't mind a half year old phone then I say go for it, it should last you until next year. If you must have the latest spec and the top of the top then I suggest you wait for a bit.


From what I see, I don't think there will be a Z Ultra successor. Seeing that phablets don't do so well on the market (except for the Note 3) and the Z2 is getting more attention, I think Sony would be more focused on that for now.

Yes it happens to all Xperia Z series as I heard. It's like a motor running. This is the only thing I don't know how Sony can screw up so bad.

And no you can't adjust the intensity, only the keyboard.

Capacitive touch screens doesn't work underwater.

Try uninstalling Chrome updates. I haven't tried it myself yet but that's what everybody says.

I got a Kingston 32GB Class 10 as well. Same problem, I restarted my phone and it worked.

I'm losing my hype for KitKat already.

Few things I don't like upon booting up the phone after KitKat update.

-New animation boot up. The old black one looks more classy IMO.
-New lock screen. I love the previous one so much with the stripes thingy. This new one looks like a Galaxy phone.
-Lock/unlock sounds!!!! Makes my speaker sound muffled.
-I don't mind the Quick settings separated from the notification tray, but it's colourless now eww.

One thing I like, SONY TOUCH SOUNDS ARE BACK!!!!

So far that's all I noticed for now.

Meh, still prefer MX player, with the gesture seeking, touch to pause, used to all that.

OTA might take weeks or months. Update via PC companion.
