I always thought they were Boso also. Until last year i found this video and the guy is an Aussie living in Japan and does old school car spotting. I sub his channel to see all oldies cars. This video has the title name. But in another video he narrates about it.



The style is called Shakotan or Zokusha. Bosozoku is meant for motorcycle gangs. He went to car shows and the car people actually hate to be called Bosozoku because they aren't. So they tell this guy what is this style called.

I can't find the other video that narrates why car guys refuse to be called Boso. Those motorcycle style used to be affiliated to gangsters like Yakuza. Car style they want to make it clear its not Bosozaku because they do not want to be seen as gangsters. Have to be in Japan, see, and hear what the Japanese think about it. Here i only know this Aussie Daniel from Wasabi cars that said Japanese say cars is not Bosozoku. While we rest of the world say Bosozoku to every bike, car and truck that look like that. This is the first time i'm hearing this because i used to think all mee sotong cars are Bosozaku too. Some years ago there was Hipari look. Sidewall riding ultra wide rims and tires.

Wiki sometimes cannot pakai one. I wrote a correct submission last time about something and was the first to start that subject. Within 1 year, my original content gone. Replaced by filtered content. The useful stuff are all science one. Concerning culture (which i submitted) cannot be trusted. Because it is highly modifiable, which is a bad thing.
