Thats just a style la, like evolving rubick or qop set, the ears maybe evolve or something...

You need to buy a artificer's chisel from the store or steam market.
Chisel has 5 uses, so use it to make a "hole".
Got empty hole, can slot in "gem".

Wanna remove "gem" from "hole"?
Get a "artificer's hammer".

No, courier can only pick up one gem in game, thats called Gem of True Sight.

What I assume you are asking is if you "can put a modifier gem ON a courier"

Yes, couriers can hold gems as long its mod can record it.
You dont go and put something stupid like first blood gem la.

No, unusual couriers will be destroyed if you remove the color and effect gem.
The courier will disappear, but you will get the gems.
Must use a special hammer for removel, unusual artificers hammer

actually valve already make this WETA (4 items) long ago but not include that in-game items...
so i think they want promo WETA stuff by giving in-game items...
