how to install on lga 775 motherboard([color=red]ON YOUR OWN RISK);[/font]
first you need to cut border to make cpu lga771 fit on lga775 motherboard.
cut out the border in red circle in the picture.need to cut it carefully because don't want to damage the pin.then the processor will apply and fit on lga775 socket.
video how to cut it
make sure the arrow in same direction with arrow on the motherboard when you apply on it.

Finally bought the new thermal paste , just finish installed E5450 C0 and tested. took long time to mod my motherboard socket... Here is my E5450 C0 CPU-Z screen shot! Don't know is full command for the cpu or not?
may i ask my mobo asus p5k se-epu can support this 771? and if i buy will can help me to install it? because i am noobie on chop the plastic head yeah and how much for e5450 include in-house install?

yes u can use 775 too..there is no problem after u cut it and still can use 775 again.PM sent..

just need the converter sticker and cut the border on the motherboard n u ready to go.
After fix the processor do I need to reflash/update the BIOS? The processor can use for any 775 Mobo?
no need to reflash/update BIOS but depends on what your motherboard chipset and brand.example x48,u need flash new bios. if dual or core 2 spec will support all most all type 775 motherboard.quad core ofc support on motherboard support quad core.
