Can any ice sifu explain what is the usage of this?

does it really make the sound better than the one without the preout?

if yes, what brand or model to consider? budget not more than 800

HU with higher volt preout to the amp will give ahigher signal
so the amp gain can be reduce
so can reduce the noise of the amp (lay man's term - cleaner sound)

Eclipse a lot model also have 5V preout...& below RM1000 ~ quite value

a high volt hu do not mean for higher signal.
in audio, wat we wan the signal to transfer is frequency...higher voltage is used to clean the noise because a low voltage signal can induce noise more than high voltage signal...it do not do anything to the gain and the volumn...hope u understand
