I cannot sleep during exam periods. During the uptime i may pick up my books but im feeling VERY tired, so it means i cant study during that period. The problem is i dont feel tired until its about 2 hours before the exam hall, but before that i feel fine.

its been like this for the past 3 semesters! Someone help me out, my mother wont let me buy sleeping pills from pharmacies (do they even sell them?).

I tried wanking and warm milk too. At the same time.

pharmacies do sell sleeping pills, but i think its best to get them from a doctor who can help suggest what medications would work best for your situation and what other options there are.

your insomnia is probably caused by stress as you say you only get it during exams. you can try exercising 30mins - 1hour before you go to sleep, punching bags or weights it will help to reduce stress, another thing to try is to sleep on the couch while watching tv with the aircon on.

Haha.. same case as me. try alternative medication. Here's my recomendations.

Camomile Tea- Look for it in pharmacies or supermarkets. Take a few cups of camomile. Its good! Try to believe it!

Lavender Oil- Use it for aromatheraphy. Burn this essential oil (remember to get the good ones which cost at least 30up) in a burner with water. Good sleep inducer with classical music.

The below is not recommended in a healthy lifestyle but it works wonders.
Alcohol- try mixing anything you can find. vodka with whiskey, with VSOP,XO, terquila. You'll be dead asleep before you realize it! smile.gif

the alcohol suggestion would work well... if you dont have an exam the next day where a hangover would be a bad thing to have.

well, i had the same problems before. But you have passed every exams to date right?

No need to worry, your body will correct itself after the exams, u probably sleep for days after that. at the meantime, if you do want to get some sleepign pills, i suggst u pay a visit to your family doctor.

My family doctors prescribed me sleeping pills, and it has helped me to sleep during exams. well, i have passed the exams and i am working now. i survived, so can you.

good luck
