Just wanna share/ask your opinion:

17/9/21 HR emailed me to submit documents...
22/9/21 Manager from the dept I applied called me & invite me for a chit-chat session on 23/9
23/9/21 Chit chat session (they ask me whether i want contract/permanent, told them i only looking for permanent)
23/9/21 The manager replied my email after chit chat “ I am pleased to share we have initiated the process to recruit you as permanent ”
27/9/21 Submitted all my documents to HR & answered online assessment

Question is:
1. What is the next process?
2. Do I have “high” chance of getting hired since it was the group manager itself interviewed me and replied the email that
3. “To recruit you as permanent”. Does that mean no more interview after this? Cause last time the manager told me the position is available right now and it is for immediate hiring

Btw I am in finance field (ACCA background)

Did you get in petronas thru the same process also? Is there going to be anymore interview cause I see most of the post earlier stated got that CBI/technical interview after pass online assessment.

Wow u must be really good! Can share your process? Was it fast? And is there anymore interview (in this case) after online assessment? Since i saw most of the post said they will be CBI/technical interview kind of thing

Hey bro. Currently I am still waiting for the offer letter. Last Friday 12/11 they informed me they are in the midst of finalizing my offer letter. They’re getting the approval from relevant individuals & will issue out the offer letter. Theres slightly delay since the HR just migrated to new system (thats what they told me). But the manager of the dept also stated that they plan to send out the offer letter to me by this month (November).

Btw I received the interview result on 2/11 which stated that I have passed the final interview (CBI).

If everything goes well according to the plan, I will be placed under group treasury department, for performance reporting

Hopefully by this week will get the offer letter!

Hi bro. I did my CBI on 14/10. The HR informed me that the result will be out between 2-3 weeks. I followed up with them on the 2nd week and no respond. Followed up again on 3rd week then 2/11 they informed that I pass the CBI. Currently they’re finalizing my offer letter. Hopefully will get it by this week!

Btw you should just follow up with HR regarding your CBI result.

I am so delightful to receive the offer letter sooner than I expected. If anyone have any questions, feel free to ask! I would try to help in best way I can!

Also make sure always to ask the interviewer/HR of approximately when will you know the result of the CBI & after that always follow up with them. For my case they informed me between 2-3 weeks. I followed up for 2nd week, no response. Followed up on the following weeks then only they response with the result!

Hi bro.

You will need to sit for online assessment first. Then only after you pass it, you will proceed to CBI (for my case). Online assessment is quiet tricky, its best if you have another friends/person helping you to answer it. Cause theres not much time to answer every questions on your own.

CBI is competency behavioural interview. You can google the tips and tricks to pass it! And just be ready with your experience to relate with the situation that they will give. For my case, I listed down all possible situations that they may ask, and I relate them to my experiences way before the interview!
