Im taking IT bachelor

I failed my medical check up on the first try. Do the check up at PUSRAWI, the breathing test need to be done 8 times, the doctors know what is the benchmark we required to pass, so he push me to do it until i pass the test (for info, I'm a smoker).

However, it was not this test that make me failed. It was on blood test. my cholesterol level during first medical check up is 6.3+ if i'm not mistaken. So HR call me, and give me another 3 months to re-do my medical check up. however, i just re-do it again after 5 weeks, and the level has decrease to 4.6 (the required level to pass is 5.2 and below).

long story short, now working with PETRONAS.

p/s: heard someone said they need to do the TA on saturday. this is normal. I'm doing my SI also on saturday.

usually you will be assigned to petronas ICT sdn bhd, formerly known as i-perintis sdn bhd.

be mindful that the salary rate is different than normal petronas permanent executive. the job mostly in troubleshooting iinm.

btw, got my friend doing a programming job with petronas on establishing SAP system but he is just a subcon from petronas. not sure if there is any programming job in petronas itself

I went for an interview session at Kerteh for an OPU there early last month. The interview was conducted with TP and Department Manager, which most of it was all technical. After two weeks, I called their HR to find out the result for the session, and they said I've been recommended for SI. They asked me to wait for HR in KL to call for SI.

Now, its been two weeks since the call and I'm still have no ideas when they will call. I did ask during the interview, is the position offered need to be fill-up urgently. They answered that they are looking to fill the position by January.

I am exactly in the same boat as you except that I have been waiting close to 2 months now. Patience is the key.

that's just normal. For an SI, the HR will have to find 2 assessor for the session. They are from the HR and the field so very hard to fix any dates to say. normally for any TA, there might be more recommended candidates than the number of vacancy. so, u will have to wait as they shall rank everyone for the SI.

having said that, normally those recommeded from the TA shall be called for SI - it's a matter of time. Good luck!

Just got call from hr. Pass my TA and need to attend SI next monday..i'm quite nervous. Anyone can share their SI exp.? And they ask me to ctc my doc. Just want to know for payslip,who supposedly can ctc it?for other doc i already ctc previously. Only for payslip.hope u can share with me.

Hi guys, yesterday I received a call from Petronas HR, they said want to conduct a small interview or something like chit chat session before proceeding to SI. Can I know, what do they normally ask in the chit chat session eh? I'm applying as a trader

they only ask abt ur background.like normal interview.mostly asking abt ur working exp. And please study abt ur job n the co. Wish u gud luck..

What position and which OPU are you applying for?

I heard there is a new method on SI nowadays, but I could not confirm this. But it will be similar as what has been shared throughout this thread IMO.
