All the very best. Hope you make it. For rest of you guys please do well especially during the SI session. Its very important. My 2 cent advice, Kindly polish your presentation skill and read alot of the current issues such as pollution, health, ebola for the case study. Be confident and do not show them that you are nervous. Passing the SI is the biggest hurdle.
Though passing SI do not guarantee placement but it put you on the right track to progress. Sincere advice. Read more on the job that you applying.

Hi, if I have failed my SI, can I reapply to petronas. How long does it take? Is there any possibility that they may consider me again.

Young & inexp with the right attitude is OK. I'm from the contractor side and agreed with u to the certain extent. Now that i'm about to be within, I already know what type of client that I should not be.

It's a learning cycle anyway.

i thought SI is only to complete the procedure.means once u pass your T.A, SI only a requirement to be a permanent staff. Coz during TA session is where you facing with the teams or managers that you will be reporting to.Once they like you, they just need to inform HR they want you and attend SI just to complete the procedure.Maybe there a few candidates fighting for the position in your case and SI will decide which one win.

No. Though you pass your TA, SI will decide whether you get the position or not. It's important to perform in SI.

after 6 months joined PETRONAS (8 years working experience - technical), i think its far better to join Petronas as Manager/Staff Engineer.

Joined as executive especially G3 and G4 , you will deal with ACD - Accelerated Competency Development.

ACD assessment will be done yearly and there are lots of things to cover.

If join as fresh graduate it will be more easier, since you know it from beginning and plan your strategy to close/score for ACD.

to shed more lights, read this blog -> http://miziwrites.blogspot.com/2011/04/me-...lse-part-4.html

my suggestion, wait until u have >10 years experience, and joined as G5
