 import ipad air . custom tax?

Do u guys know if there will be any tax on Ipad if I import just one Ipad from hk? I saw expansys is selling. But I'm afraid there might be chargers.. Anyone tried before ?

what are the specs for the ipad? wifi/3g? depending on how you declare it. basically anything > RM500 will be taxed. ipad, depending on the specs, might need sirim sticker.

yes i got buy item from US before, if 1 unit no need pay tax unless you order a lot will block by custom

NOT necessary true. This depends on one luck. I have bought in 1 unit each phone/tablet 5 times from UK/USA. Twice kena hold up by scustom and I need to apply Sirim Permit for it ( RM 100). The other 3 times arrived at my place and package was not even opened
If you bring in personally 1-2 units by hand, unlikely you will be even be tax or need pay Sirim permit - I have done these many times and even show the customs. They just wave me through at KLIA custom check.

Expansys uses UPS, you definitely kena tax.

UPS will call you when it arrives and tell you about sale tax

Me ? i already stop buying from Expansys.
