Hi guys my mother just undergo a surgery to remove her ovary. Now she's recovering. I wanna know what kind of fruits that are good for her to eat? I mean like fruits that can help her surgery wound heal faster .

Fruits I wouldn't know....but all Chinese knows that "sang yu" (ikan haruan) is good for post-surgery recovery. Chicken essence too.

Yeap, ikan haruan is believed to be the best deal for post-surgery recovery.

Fruits are good but I think nothing too acidic. Apples should be alright. You should speak to her doctor when you go see her.

My mom had that surgery years ago. No fruit is scientifically proven can help surgery heal. Snake head fish is just only a chinese believing. Try something else like gamat jelly can be bought from pharmacy. It help skin would recovery from accidents.

anything that will make her happy will help to improve her condition or atleast improve her mood which will improve her immune system. i like to give peaches to friends who are recovering from injuries or surgery, give what you think your mum would like.

definately avoid grapefruit or cranbery juice... since ur mum may hve some medication and those fruits mess with liver...

anything like oranges with high vitamin c do help to boost immune system..

u can try GAMAT jelly from LUXOR. can buy at pharmacy. price not sure. It works for my mom in fact better then ikan haruan... give it a try smile.gif

there is this drinks known as Millenium. Good for surgery recovery..
my mom, my neighbour, my aunt, and my mom's friend had taken this before..
i myself also tried before, during fever sweat.gif mom force me to drink.. LOL

my mom friend's who had more than 3 surgery in a year (due to stupidity of doctor), felt a lot better after taking this drinks. it's not cheap, cost around RM200+
