OK, in case anyone's wondering how to record the signal from a 360 easily. Well you don't need any video splitters or such.. IF you're using the Component cables and the optical for your audio.

Basically when you slide the switch to TV on the video cable, even though the box is connected to the TV via the component cables, the Yellow,Red,White combo cable still carries the video and audio signal, ideal for being used to capture video footage!

video cable cost me 195. there were cheaper alternatives, but this was the cheapest one I could find that captured audio directly through the thing instead of a line out into my notebook's mic jack which wasn't what I wanted cause my mic jack sucks!

Wanted to do voice over but end up with captions.. and I think I picked some pretty bad colors in certain places.. what did you expect from someone at 3AM in the morning? tongue.gif

No if I could do the voice over you'll hear the buckets load of sarcasm spilling out.

I use movie maker to capture, capturing is not a problem it's editing which is the problem while MM is easy to use for home movies not very nice for elaborate review videos!

Well if you can't even survive the 4 minute version in PGR3 then yeah.. you don't need to buy the full version. The full version is never ending one.

aiyah, my TV's monitor out jack doesn't display anything when the input is a progressive component signal so... damn when I record I have to switch to analog display.
