Well I need to know whether Sparkle 6600GT(AGP) can unlock its temperature reading?Been trying to overclock but want to see its temp 1st before doing so. rclxms.gif

Well I've found this site but dunno wat the hell it say

yup.. the sparkle agp 6600gt temp monitor can be enabled.. did it on my previous card without problems.. only need to change 1 value in the GC Bios, then flash it. easy n dun worry wink.gif

Well, on my daily way across the web to look what others think about my little site I found this one, and, first thing I have to say: the page isn't denmark, it

Short things short: yes, you can unlock it, simply download the RAR-package, extract it, and flash the BIOS with the other tools mentioned on the website (NVFlash, CWSDPMI) from the german ComputerBase (registration required) or directly here: http://nvworld.ru/downloads/nvflash.zip

So I decided to give it a shot.....But if somethings goes wrong will I able to revert it back to its original state by flashing the original bios?

yess u can revert or flash to original BIOS, but u need PCi GFx to do that wink.gif

btw, just curious.. 6600GT... what are the temparatures u guys are getting for this card? anyone knows any topic in this forum which have readings of the temp?

mine's gigabyte 6600GT... and it's friggin hot. i'm talking about 70 plus C on full load.
i'm using stock fan.

Have about 46 idle and 62°C load oc'ed (570/1200 MHz), using VF-700Cu.

 

Change to:

0.0140sec    0.70    5 queries    GZIP Disabled
