currently still playing grandia II.... i almost get stuck in the game... coz got bugs in the game.... my characters are too STRONG

when fighting Melfice for the 1st time... he supposed to hurt Ryudo to some extend....then only can continue story... but my Ryudo is just too strong... all hits only get ZERO!!!
so stucked there
then i found another way to over come it.... which is to get ryudo poisoned by other monster 1st before fighting him... then only can go through..
