If ure using it with a laptop then all u need to do is go buy a laptop LED light that plugs into the USB port. I bought 1 that clips on to the screen with 4 white LEDs. Very, Very bright can work at night without lights. N it only cost me like rm10.

get another hub that comes with an adapter, it supplies extra voltage to the hub,
i think its not adivisable, because afraid ur USB devices might run low on VOLTAGE. so.. i think the hub with the dc adaptor is worth getting, GOOD LUCK |

wait the light is for the usb kb or just for the lappie kb? if that is the case. its better that you unplug the wireless kb when u're using the lappie kb then plug back the wireless kb when you need to go the distance

honest opinion? desk lamp la.. get those cheap ones which are not too bright but sufficient lighting fir kb usage. drawing too much power from the usb is a bad idea.
or you can just unplug the card reader since you're not reading from your cards all the time. its plug and play summore so not much problem |

mic detects sounds la. not produce sound.
threadstarter, you can try to look for those kb with el lights on the button. such as logitech g15 or saitek ones(forgot wat model) both would suit your need nicely. |
