not true, i think my minolta dimage x could record videos with sound n zoom if memory serves me right...

MEGA OIS lens? the ois is in the cam, not the lenses. it's pretty pricey actually.half of it to the cam, d other for d lens:P

Have you every own a lumix before....The OIS is for the lense and not the camera....

Better get your facts straight........ mad.gif

sony's anti shake is essentially minolta's anti shake system. instead of having an additional lens, it counters shake by vibrating the ccd. i think it's something like that.
*
I'm with you....The anti shake came off from minolta.....and the thing is it moves the ccd and not the lense...In what I understood... rclxub.gif

me thinking of getting the LS 2, quoted at RM688, with 256mb card and pouch, not sure worth it or not...
*
I suggest you visit or call keycolor in midvalley for a quo...The shop could give much better package...

not sure it's about my statement? but me thinking of getting advantage of the mega OIS and AA battery, only LZ2 for RM899 and LS2 for RM688 here match my demand, any view.?
*
FYI, Lumix Venus III is not any better than the latter one...
Noise issues can be seen at higher iso....
but can be accepted for small prints such as for 4x6

nope...just need a spare one, that's all.

but buying it from Panasonic will cost a bomb. it's just a usb cable, but it's not available in LYP. that's a first.  sweat.gif
*
IMO the cable is a proprietary cable for panasonic onli.... icon_rolleyes.gif
