TIFF i think is some sort of RAW file lo.. no compress at all and the jpeg is a compressed version. TIFF let u have better control on editing...
correct me if wrong... great to hear that the problem solve..congrat.. |

yalor...D40 only support AFS lens...so u cannot used some of the third party lens like tamron and sigma...very not syok... unless u save money kau kau buy nikon lens la. 3AF point is alittle bit less....... @fecgoh too bad i had sold my FZ7 and FZ50....and i miss them alot...  |

if there a thin grey layer on ur lens than the pic that u shot should fail to focus on that part. a grey layer will not increase the noise.
check ur ISO setting. izzit set to high ISO? besides, becareully to fungus. the grey layer might be fungus. |
