nola....if u put a macro lens on a DSLR than u will loving it......

most P&S offer macro function but they just allow getting focus near to the subject only...u wont see the bokeh bokeh thing like it the DSLR..haha....

sort of something like what vikingw2k said. the subject is sharp but the background is entire blur.....this is what they call great bokeh.

haha....now u know y i sell my FZ7 in 2 months....
dun used MF. leica AF is good enough for it. used center AF dun used multi segment AF.

dun used 12x zoom since u dun have any macro filter or adaptor. just used 35mm and get closer and try increase the zoom if cannot focus than turn back alittle bit. get the composition u want and snap it. after shoot...crop ur photo to enlarge ur subject.... it will give u a better close up

i think there nothing special about the LS2...already have replacement model.
for feature..it just like other campact cam,5MP,3x optical zoom.. the only special is OIS,it is a optical image stablizer..to reduce hand shake...but all panasonic cam model have the OIS feature and other brand oso having this feature.

i think this cam is abit old already..even this cam dun have wide angle as well..

the 3CCD i think is not for compact right now...3CCD is only for video cam only.

no...the i see other forum, user said the AF will hunting and the zoom is using electrical motor like FZ7 and S3IS.

i u wan upgrade...get FZ50 or fuji 9600 is much much more better with the mechanical zoom ring..... the 500mm not much used.... the 420mm is enough already
