is it provided here or we only can engrave it in the USA? if it's possible, how much it charge? thnx!

I used to work in this company that sold laser cutting machines, and they had this smaller laser machine that could lasercut any CAD design into almost any material, handphones, business cards etc. Sorry though, I don't know where you can find shops which use that type of machines.

My guess is anywhere that has Apple Online Store, which is not available in Malaysia. Apple.com.sg has it...

dude... if you have the iPod already... and you go engrave it... please call the Apple Hotline and make sure it will not void your warranty...

cos you're getting a 3-rd party to make physical changes to it...

what if someone's planning to buy an ipod+engrave it. like the ones u order online in other countries. can or not??

you can actually send your ipod to the apple centre in singapore..and ask them to engrave for you..i had a friend who bought the ipod in malaysia did so...

Wah, have to send to SG to do the engraving? I know of shops that can do body-painting on iPod (including one in The Curve) but aren't there any1 who does engraving as well?

Or you can engrave it at Ampcorp Mall in PJ. Don't remember the shop name though. YOu can select your own font, and chose your own words.

I think its possible to call Hotline for engravement service. They're most likely to send it to Singapore(that's the nearest I could think of). Might as well go there yourself and get it done.

to clarify myself... I meant, call the Apple Hotline (1800 - 803 - 638) and ask them... if engraving by a third party will void warranty or not.

3rd party involve sure void the warranty one.. for sure...
