hey, i have a couple of questions here

1. I have about RM1000 now. I'm not sure whether to get a new guitar (i have an sx vintage series strat and an acoustic now) or get a bass + amp? and if guitar, what guitar?

2. Does the tension of the string help in anyway when you're playing solos?

hey guys, I decided on getting a les paul but i don't know to get an sx one or epiphone one. I refered to my old guitar teacher, he told me to get an sx one cause with proper upgrades and tune ups, he says it can sound even better than an epiphone. But I sorta don't want to have another sx cause my strats already an sx..if an epi is the way to go, then maybe i'll go down to sg this holidays and get one. btw, my teacher also said, and i quote "epiphone is a crap brand". Discuss.

I can go for 1.3k to 1.5k..but i think i'll just get an sx custom for Rm 890 and upgrade the pickups..i feel that it's too tedious going down to s'pore to get an epiphone..what pickups do epihpones come with and how much does it cost to upgrade the pickups? cause the pickups on my strat was surprisingly good and had minimal buzz

From what i heard and read, many think SX wood is better money for the value of the money..it's practically the same or better than epiphone (according to what i heard..not sure bout this)

hey, im not sure if i should start a new thread for this or not but since, this is the guitar thread i think i'll post it here..anyone here knows anyone or are giving out guitar lessons? i think i need em cause till now, i have no idea whats a harmonic..i alread yknow my basic stuff..just need someone to help me out with more technical stuff and probably teach me a solo or two..im based in sunway btw

I see...still pondering over a second guitar after my strat..and then amps..i have to replace my 20w prince beetle..either a jazz chorus 120watter for Rm 1.2k and a vox 30w or a laney 30/60 w but i can't find them anywhere

my budgets really about 1.2k..but if its really a good buy im considering it..but i prefer to have something more ltd-ish or ibanez sa-ish

i already have someone willing to sell to me a really old Jazz chorus 120 watts for RM 1200..=P

not sure..haven't seen it yet..jsut told that its pretty old but sounds just as good
