Adobe Illustrator, convert .ai to .pdf, some minor issues

hi just wondering how come the prints from .ai and the prints from .pdf(after converted thru save as in AI) there is a lot of difference. Example for the prints from .pdf is actually smaller than the print from .pdf.......is it normal for this to be like that??

is the print setting difference lah i guess
yeah, normally pdf will be smaller |
