The phone's not officially released in Singapore yet (no Playstore in Singapore)
So it's most probably an AP set, which explains the unusually high price.

But yes, it is usable in Malaysia.
You'll still want to check whether it's the D820 or D821 model before purchasing (get the D821 one). You never know, they could have gotten it from the US Playstore.

If this happen in US, the retailer will have to commit to the sales price
But us in bolehland.. can keep dreaming

AP set is basically original, its just that its from other countries which is not entitled for official warranty support from LG Malaysia.
UNLESS there's international warranty.
Say, people are getting Australian set of Nexus 5 instead of Malaysian set as LG Malaysia hasn't launch it yet. Therefore, for warranty, you have to send it back to LG Australia.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
*
ooo like that ar... i am staying in Penang and all sellers are from KL, if got problem means that I have to send back to KL's seller, right....

Yup, and they'll either fix the phone themselves (unlikely) or send back to the country of origin to claim warranty. However, the cost you might need to bear yourself (courier service to and fro + postage to the country of origin).
*
like that then i better wait for it to be sold in Penang wink.gif ... thanks for the info anyway biggrin.gif

I'm waiting for official date of launch. If the ori set price it ok might just get the 32GB ori set.

Sellers here just mark up the price as they please.
Have you guys seen the LG Flex price? RM3K. Crazy sh*t.
*
btw when will be official released in malaysia?

*

I mean if I got a unit like that. Haha but my N5 works perfectly fine except having radio problem during the first 2 days.

Btw, just got my Nilkin SP and Spigen Slim Armor.
Case cantik but crap the case makes my N5 going into reboot-loop. Should have listened to reviews on Amazon. DAMN!! Any solutions?

And, why the SP so sticky 1? I can hardly swipe.
