I suppose the carriers won't do any cutting. They'll just give u a new one with a minimal charges if I am not wrong

Coming from a Galaxy note, i really can see that my N5 has the yellow tint....probably the difference between AMOLED and IPS display? I am not sure myself...

For those who felt their display looks like somebody pissed on it, you should try the elementalx kernel. It sets the display to a cooler tone and also some other useful feature like double tap to wake or swipe to wake.
