It already gets lotsa attentions over here. And, seriously, LG Malaysia will not price it low. laugh.gif

Btw, drop test really means nothing because it very depends on the angle. Drop a few times with my nexus 4 with and without bumper, luckily mine is still ok. Thank god!

maybe LG IT department will monitor this thread and give ideas to their superior how much to sell LG Nexus here. I bet if 32gb 1700 to 1900, people will still buy.  tongue.gif or is that too cheap?  biggrin.gif
*
Actually, in my pov, it's a little beast, even Nexus 4 is a beast with cheap price tag. It could have been priced higher, however, all of us are pampered because of the price of those devices in playstore. So, no, I still want it cheap albeit the very good hardware! tongue.gif

which seller would be so dumb to sell D820? doh.gif That's pretty dumb bringing in one that doesn't work with MY's LTE band, isn't it? shakehead.gif
*
It's not dumb at all. The LTE's coverage in Malaysia has yet to reach a stage where it's usable especially in rural areas like the place I'm living now. I hardly get 3G/H and that's why I'm getting d820 and till the time LTE is getting a bigger coverage, only then I will buy another one.

in my case, 32gb differs RM300+, so who is the richer now? haha. I don't need LTE yet, so it saves me about 300. biggrin.gif

I'm living in Perak. A very small town, really small. Hahaha. Hardly get 3g. Adui. So for me, it's enough. Haha.

fedex around ~AUD85. It would be cheaper if bulk buy since everyone can share the shipping, but then if do bulk buy not sure kastam will hold the item or not  hmm.gif
*
yes, you will need to settle the SIRIM. There's no tax.

SIRIM we personally need to apply or fedex will settle for us & we pay the amount they give us? Because bought few items from overseas, usually when tax they will settle for us and I just need to pay the amount when they deliver to my doorstep but not sure about SIRIM laugh.gif

Also heard 1 SIRIM can apply to 3 phones  brows.gif
*
Ya, some companies can help to settle it. HOwever, Uncle Benny explains quite well but forgot which pages on these several threads. haha

Guys, have no luck on installing the driver. Uninstalled everything and installed everything. Nexus 5 just doesn't show up at all in Device Manager.

Anyone?

Tried everything.

suggest reboot in fastboot, then try again connect to PC, just in case fast charge enable. try all other USB ports of PC.

QUOTE(monsh @ Dec 11 2013, 06:58 AM)
It's possible MTP not enabled.
Setting>Storage
Click top right, click USB media connection
tick MTP(enable) then uninstall the unknown driver in Device Manager
unplug and replug nexus 5 should install the driver automatically.

hope this helps smile.gif

I think my unit has the problem with the main board because no laptops/PC can detect my phone after it plugged in. sad.gif

Google US called me and said that I will need to send it back to Japan for warranty purpose.

If the problem is changing the whole board, I don't think that repairing it locally will be a wise choice because the price of fixing it will be expensive.
