QUOTE(tcmean @ Nov 22 2013, 03:48 PM) Thank you. I just managed to activate it at Celcom Bayan Baru branch. LTE activated within a minute. No SIM card change is needed (mine is nano SIM comes with iPhone 5 plan early this year). Yes, I also visit the same service center and told the same. Now free trial and charge RM10/m starting next year. no need change new Sim for LTE (just like maxis) even my very old miniSIM. just cut out and center activate LTE only.I was told that Celcom will be charging RM10 extra per month for LTE starting next year. Did a speedtest quickly with my Nexus 5 at the branch right after activation. |

QUOTE(ic-klass @ Nov 24 2013, 12:28 PM) just normal version of firefox, not beta.QUOTE(Kagekiyo @ Nov 24 2013, 03:46 PM) Just in case if anyone wants to replace their stock kernel with Franco or Trinity, look here: yes, very happy with franco. will try Trinity when free next.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2540230 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2508284 Some users are reporting that they are getting an increased average of 4 - 6 hours of SOT, which is pretty incredible. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 24 2013, 09:53 PM) So far all wireless chargers that I know of of various phones perform worse n slower than direct charging. I find is not worth to buy unless you just want it as a gimmick QUOTE(Someonesim @ Nov 24 2013, 10:06 PM) It will be slower than charged through adapter. Wireless charger will be useful for me when I need to charge phone and constantly read/reply messages, get rid of cable will be good. Of course reasons I havent get one yet was the price. Had to check with my friend at Canada for the price ( after tax and courier charges ). our original phone bundled charger is 1.2A 5.0V 6Wnew Google wireless charging pad for n7 & n5 spec: 1.8A 5.0V 9W any site review already confirm it's slower? |

QUOTE(Ahmaz @ Nov 25 2013, 02:48 PM) quite irrelevant in this thread as Nexus 5 will surely have support from custom ROM community. Why bother with Xposed when you can get the modules themselves from the "source"? of course there will be many custom rom in nexus specially. but you know, not all custom rom have the features exactly you want. some of rom just too much feature packed that impact the smoothness, some of slim rom are just too minimal. different ppl dfferent taste. there is nothing wrong or right. |

is there any MOD can remove the camera icon on lockscreen? it's really 'extra' unnecessary icon shortcut. |

QUOTE(Ahmaz @ Nov 25 2013, 04:21 PM) Well, if you look at it through that perspective, I guess you're right. I was thinking given all the choices, surely one of the ROMs already available will suit your needs... but it's not bad to cherry pick your own too ok thanks. will try if really no other alternative Move your camera app from system folder to normal apps installation folder and you should be able to manipulate it like normal play store apps. You will most likely need root access first though. |

beside famous kernel dev franco & trinity, Bricked-Kernel also very popular because of the sweep2wake & doubletap2wake. previous nexus PGM lover gonna like it, or if you're looking to reduce power button pressing usage. |

previously using Wakelock Detector, seem like not compatible in kk. any other similar app recommended?
update: Sadly, with Android 4.4 KitKat, Google has restricted third party apps to access battery stats. So all 3 famous apps like BetterBatteryStats, Wakelock Detector and GSam Battery monitor, will not work, apps dev are now looking for other alternative. Hopefully they can come out some workaround first... This post has been edited by djlah: Nov 26 2013, 11:33 AM |
