How you guys backup you SMS from previous phone to this KiKat OS based Nexus 5? (since KitKat is running Hangout thing)

What kind of backup apps you guys using?

Also, is there a way to backup full resolution of contact Photo in Offline way(backup apps)?

Backup as usual, using Carbon/Helium. However it doesnt restore to Hangout, so need to open old Messaging app to restore.
*
I thought the old messaging app is removed from KitKat 4.4? which is default replaced by Hangout? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ps. Currently using Carbon/Helium already. hmm.gif

Of course its AP set. I bought it from google Play UK, while I was in UK. do tell me where the fuxk you can get non-AP unit here in Malaysia.

or you fuxkers dont really know what the fuxk is the difference between the word AP or non-AP?
*
Chill dude, buy a Moto G temporary use it. Then when Malaysia launch Nexus 5, send back here quote the price for the screen.

Hi Guys,

Just one question. How much usable Gb in the 16Gb model? thanks again.
*
If you not a Superb Gamer like installing couple of High HD 1GB-3GB Game into your smartphone, you can live with 16GB.

I using Nexus 4 16GB, inside got 2 Nandroid backup, and some minor game like KingdomRush & PvZ2. the rest is msg/photos/pdf file. still have 2-3GB left.

Meh you can fit plenty big games in it if you careful what you put in it, I got two big games, GTA III and Vice City plus a couple of simple games PvZ2 and Hill Climb Racing with around 100 mp3 files among other files, only use half of the available storage.

Yeah, need to more carefully manage file space, if user are lazy type, then is hard for them.

Same story like this, do you ever heard of your friend complaining about their PC are lag and slow. Then after found that they have 95% used up of C Drive and 1% used up of D/E Drive. sweat.gif

hey guys. my phone just got stolen. do you know anyways to find them? i've tried to call the phone but it was off. cannot used device manager either.
*
Not trying to disappoint you but the next time you own a phone, my advice, Root your phone is a Must, flash the Ceberus with ROM Manager so that your phone can survive the Factory Reset.

Second thing is, always with at least PIN/Password Screen Lock protected. and install with Smart Lock Screen Protector so that your thief wont able to power off/airplane your phone.

At least with Nexus is non-removable battery, also if the thief smart enough to Hard-power off your phone using 10sec switch off method.

Ps. Buy the Ceberus is very cheap and life-time ownership up to 5 devices.

i've just planning to buy ceberus this morning but apparently it is too late. the phone is root and i had put lockscreen security code. hopefully the thief is not used to android environment and don't know how to factory reset or anything.
*
The thief do not need to turn on wifi/data. He just need to turn on the phone. Because with the new 4.3/4.4 Android have the new feature called WiFi always scanning even when your WiFi is turn off. So you still able to use ADM to locate it.

Erm, to all Nexus 5 owners, what is your Screen On Time usually? With wifi/3g on continously

http://www.anandtech.com/show/7517/google-nexus-5-review/3

9 hours web browsing on Wifi, 7 hours web browsing on 3G/LTE.

REALLY??? WOW thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Which means this review is BS: http://blog.gsmarena.com/nexus-5-grinds-th...y-test-routine/

Look at the comments also..
