From what I observed so far the screen changes it's color tenperature on the fly based on what's on the screen/ambient brightness etc etc (these variables are not confirmed yet,they're just my observation). Mine can go from having pure whites to slight warmer whites depending on those conditions. It doesn't matter if you have auto brightness or manual brightness control. Iirc the same thing can observed on the z,zl and htc one. The nexus 4's screen doesn't do this though as far as i can tell.

I've also noticed that the cpu cannot stay at 2.3ghz for more than 2 cores while playing a long,high bitrate 720p hi10p video. The phone seems to be having trouble managing the maximum heat output of the cpu. With custom kernels from faux and franco the situation is better,but the phone still cannot run all of it's cpu cores at their max frequency. That said for 99% of people this wont be a problem. Normal usage and gaming is fine. Web pages are rendered using all 4 cores at 2.3ghz whichbgoes back down to 300mhz when done.

If the phone was bought in the US,there's still tax for the phone [usually around 7%] and the local postage. So it's more like 385USD [RM1250~]. AFAIK the cheapest Nexus 5 you can get is from Shirogawa, RM1369 for the 16GB D820.

Maxis will charge you 10 bucks for sim replacement if im not mistaken..btw if you're on maxis postpaid LTE already activated you need to insert ur sim to a LTE ready device..whereas prepaid is not supported by LTE(this was few months back la)...
