Getting Started

Hi, i bruised my ribs last tue due to a fall on a steel bar after i slipped my hand when vaulting the bar. Even laughing or sneezing cn be quite painful.
Im following stronglifts 5x5 training and now onto my 3rd wk of the program.
Im worried if i take 1-2 wks off i'll lose the progress ive made so far.
So i wonder, anyone here hv trained with bruised ribs? Do you squat? What's your experience? Pls share. Tq

QUOTE(chiahau @ Nov 7 2013, 10:47 PM) You technically could, if you can stand the pain. QUOTE(Phc @ Nov 8 2013, 12:35 AM) I think i'll rest first and only train again tomorrow. I will take painkiller tonight before bed as precaution.

Getting Started

|
Hi, due to persistent pain i didnt restart training yet. Will see how tomorrow goes.
Today did some cardio with 3km fun run and boy, even running also can be quite painful.
Nonetheless, i checked with doctor and if i can train with pain then i can train.
Bruised/cracked ribs is not good for progress.
