On this coming weekend, I am going to Osaka, Japan for honeymoon trip.
I would like to check with you all, is it worthy to buy Canon EOS 70D in Japan?
What would be the expected price/damages to buy one there?

A lot of people said, better buy it locally.
1st - becoz of price. Certain item more cheap when u buy it here.
2nd - Warranty issue but this is not a problem if Japan is ur 2nd home..

yodobashi sells it for around RM3850 (oledi -6% GST reclaim)
malaysia oso can get that price..

although if u hunt around abit in japan u can get a slightly cheaper price, but it is worth it to just save a couple hundred RM?

plus does Canon offer international warranty?

I second whats been said. Sometimes the warranty and having a place you can go back to, to complain is a blessing.

A short update after the trip back from Japan.
Have been to most of the major electronic outlet in Osaka.
Here is my verdict:-
1) Better Buy it in Malaysia
2) Price sold in Japan is almost the same as what you can get in Malaysia. Sometimes Malaysia seems to have it cheaper.
3) There is no international Warranty from Canon. At least from those shop I have been.
4) Tax waiver given to us, yet it is still slightly more expensive than we have it here.

Conclusion:- Buy in Malaysia.
