What if i switch off the VC in tamron 17-50 VC? Will it become as sharp as non vc?

Hey guys, so i have heard that the tamron 17-50 non vc is much sharper than the VC one.
What if i switch off the VC in tamron 17-50 VC? Will it become as sharp as non vc? LOL, sorry for the question |

I have a 17-50 VC which I have used for more than a year. I have read about the difference in sharpness in both VC and non-VC. The VC version is really sharp for its price. At f2.8, it's decently sharp but not as sharp as from f/4 onwards.
There are some rare occasions where if you don't let the VC 'lock' in time and you take a picture, the picture will look rather 'blurry', in fact, it hasn't happened so long that I forgotten what it looks like. |
